Just a few months ago, a terrible famine was declared in the Horn of Africa, and as you read this, about
13 million people are slowly starving to death in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Uganda (many of them children). My friend Jackie, who writes the blog
La Casa de Sweets, has done an incredible job organizing bloggers to unite to raise money to alleviate the effects of this terrible famine.
